Stephans istniało od 1990 roku. Po wydaniu kilku demówek w 1995r. ukazuje się pierwsze poważniejsze wydawnictwo - kaseta
"Kochanka Powieszonego"(1995). Kolejne to "Minimal 7.20 (1997) "Semi" (2000) oraz "Slowly Moving Sound Waves" (2002). Po wydaniu tej ostatniej zespół przestał istnieć.
Po latach wypuszcza epkę "Zakurzone Dni" (2016). A po kolejnym wskrzeszeniu -"Wytarte ścieżki"(2022).
